Without exaggeration
My dear and devoted woman
With your iconic looks
Of a Hitchcock blonde
Swimming topless
In a secluded Mediterranean cove
I love you more than
Poems and ships
Please do believe
In my frankness
And do not lose yourself
In the hazy horizons
Of morbid jealousy
And be aware that
Thanks to the mind-caressing
Knowledge flowing
From the delightful
And pleasant travel books
My love for poems and ships
Is becoming more consistent
And less sceptical
Than your love for me
Darling, do not say
I did not inform you
Kindly and on time
With these unpretentious lines
